
Carlie Hay is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2025. Carlie enjoys taking a biomechanical and functional approach to physical therapy. During her time in Birmingham, she enjoyed volunteering at the Lakeshore Paralympic Training Center, teaching yoga, and participating in a student-led pro bono clinic for Cahaba Medical Care. Carlie also has experience working with adaptive sports and outdoor recreation at the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah. Her published research focuses on the effects of taboo or emotional language on pain.
Outside of Atlas, Carlie enjoys reading, hiking, training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and running with her dog, Luna. Born and raised in South Louisiana, she has a strong love for good music and good food. Over the next few years, she can be found trying every single coffee shop in the Denver area.
